I used to be the person who everyone would call to ‘help them’ to do things that they could have easily done themselves; however, out of convenience, they asked for my help and I gave it without any hesitation. It wasn’t until I realized that my own cup was empty that I realized that I was trying harder to fill the cup of others than I was to fill that of my own.
