Sturla Brandth Grovlen - Nordic Cinematographer - Victoria, Rams, Before The Frost, Wendy, Shirley, Another Round
Sturla was born in Trondheim, Norway, and attended the Bergen Academy of Art and Design in Norway and then The National Film School of Denmark in Copenhagen, where he lives and works. Sturla’s most notable past projects include the single-take thriller Victoria, for which he received the Silver Bear at Berlinale.  He then won the Silver Frog at Camerimage for Rams, a film stylistically opposite to Victoria and worked on the acclaimed Before The Frost, for Michael Noer.  Sturla recently worked with Benh Zeitlin on Wendy, Josephine Decker for Shirley, Jóhann Jóhannsson on Last And First Men and Another Round directed by Thomas Vinterberg.
