Faith over feelings.
Romans 12:2   And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.   3. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.    Don’t let anyone—fellow believers, the enemy or even your own mind—convince you that you have weak or nonexistent faith. That’s a lie that, if you believe it, will keep you a weak, ineffective Christian. If you have become a new creation in Christ Jesus, then you have “the measure of faith.” Like Jesus, your faith has the ability to move mountains. It simply needs to be exercised.    Matthew 17:20.  And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.    Some feeling are ugly - Anger, envy, jealousy, hatred, terror; some feelings are so hideous you’d rather they never saw the light of day. You may feel it’s better to keep them to yourself than inflict them on anyone.
