RAS #221 - Amazing Seafarers

On the podcast this week we get to learn a lot about refrigeration from the experts themselves, General Electric. I guess I should point out that this is from the 1950’s perspective. Also, we have a Geologist who tells his tale on how he got shipwrecked in Minnesota. Oh, and if that was not enough how about a short story about shipmate who is an alien? Sounds a like a great show to me! Our OTR story is a good one. It’s a high seas romance and adventure story staring Dana Andrews. He was one of Hollywood's major stars of the 1940s. What we will hear comes from a short run radio series, General Electric Theater and is called, The Token. It first aired on CBS as an audition program on January 18, 1953.
