0:25-5:39 БАТЮШКА (KRZYSZTOF DRABIKOWSKI) (Poland) Песнь 6 — Batushka are in a heated legal battle, and there seems to be drama on both sides. The NON-Metal Blade version is incredible epic melodic massive intense black metal with awesome riffs and vocals. Edit: Earlier I had said I liked the Metal Blade version, but it is not the version.  I like the guitarist/Kryzsctof's version - it is way fucking more awesome.  No comparison.  They have similar album covers, so it is way confusing. 6:42-11:09 VIMUR (GA) Nuclear Desecration — Atlanta Georgia is making their name in frostbitten dramatic black metal that breaks down deliciously. 11:42-18:03 DARKTHRONE (Norway) I Muffle Your Inner Choir — The 18th full length of Darkthrone is more of the same vein of their recent style of chomping rock with just a little bit of sinister thrown in. These guys still have ideas. 18:34-26:08 LUNAR SHADOW (Germany) Hawk of the Hills — Retro dramatic heavy metal with some modern twists of death rock. 27:05-35:47 ABYSSAL (UK) II – Discernment: Khyphotic Suzerains — Malevolent churning dystopian death in fragmented compositions that will really surprise you. 36:17-40:47 VIOLET COLD (Azerbaijan) Ultraviolet — Vivid frostscapes of atmospheric black gaze. 41:07-48:39 SÜHNOPFER (France) Hic Regnant Borbonii Manes Bludgeoning drumming with a beast of a lead singer. 49:20-52:41 FLUB (Sacramento) Rise from Your Grave — Alterbeast, Vale of Pnath and Rivers of Nihil members grooving their way into tongue-in-cheek tech death, lite. 53:12-58:03 DEATHSPELL OMEGA (France) Imitatio Dei — These guys create a weird story that is hard to follow, but necessary to know the ending. 58:27-END BLACK SITES (Chicago) Dream Long Dead — Ear candy of death rock, heavy metal and headbanging.
