When the Newness Wears Off | ReWire 1183
What happens when the newness wears off?  Most people start to show up as their old selves.  They stop working out.  Stop holding open doors.  Stop being polite, and going out of their way to dance like they did in the very beginning of their relationship.  They stopped working hard at their job and got lazy.  But, knowing this, you can change what happens when the newness wears off.  You know it is coming, but what you do will determine if it wears off or simply fades away.  When the new starts to wear off, it's important to take a different approach to your job.  Your spouse.
