His short story collections are&amp;amp;nbsp;Bluebirds Used to Croon in the Choir&amp;amp;nbsp;and&amp;amp;nbsp;Demons in the Spring. His short fiction has been published in the likes of&amp;amp;nbsp;McSweeney&amp;amp;rsquo;s,&amp;amp;nbsp;One Story, Swink, LIT,&amp;amp;nbsp;TriQuarterly,&amp;amp;nbsp;Other Voices,&amp;amp;nbsp;Gulf Coast, and broadcast on NPR. He was a contributing editor to&amp;amp;nbsp;Punk Planet, the seminal underground arts and politics magazine. His non-fiction has appeared in&amp;amp;nbsp;The New York Times&amp;amp;nbsp;and&amp;amp;nbsp;Chicago Magazine.</description>
