Living in the US, he learned Karate with his friends, and by reaching middle school, he\u2019s in Tokyo trying out for Kyudo, the Japanese art of Archery. Hongo-san joined either because he wanted a sport that he wouldn\u2019t run or he wanted to honor and embrace his own culture that he missed half of his life.
