Peel, MD, MSc, from the University of Toronto to discuss the paper her first authored, \u201cDetermining the impact of ex-vivo lung perfusion on hospital costs for lung transplantation: a retrospective cohort study.\u201d   This retrospective, before-after, propensity-score weighted cohort study explores how EVLP affects hospital costs and the associated transplant procedures, intending to evaluate whether the benefits of EVLP offset its additional cost.
