She then went on to work internationally as a baboon researcher and swim school owner and instructor in Africa. Deanna received her Bachelors in Science: Physical Therapy from WITS in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2010. She then returned to the USA to live on Bainbridge Island and raise her four children in a forest home. She worked for New Motion PT on Bainbridge for almost 7 years before establishing her own practice in 2017. During this time, Deanna developed a highly successful Aqua Physical Therapy rehabilitation program which has helped hundreds of clients since 2011. Deanna's passion for Pilates lead her to attain her certification with world renowned BASI faculty.
