On this journey, I hopped in the SUV with former guest and recurring guest co-host Kyle Sutton of Bestow Baked Goods. This was Kyle\u2019s brainchild of an episode - which was a thoughtfully planned out tailgate party in anticipation of enjoying some of the best brisket in the state - Jon G\u2019s BBQ.  Along for the ride are fellow BBQ enthusiasts Curtis Bradley and Luke Minogue who added great content for the trip.  Matthew Weiss sadly wasn\u2019t able to attend, so we saved some brisket on our journey back home. What I found to be really interesting, is a tailgate at an NC bbq joint is a slice of Americana most people are unaware of. Kyle did more than enough by assembling breakfast dishes that included memphis style dry runner smoked wings, a savory bread budding, brownies and cold brew coffee.
