Michael France joined the National Air Transportation Association in March of 2009, and now serves as the association\u2019s Managing Director of Safety &amp;amp; Training. France oversees the association\u2019s education and training programs including the renowned Safety 1st program. Prior to this role, France was the Director of Regulatory Affairs where he handled issues relating to FBOs, airports, maintenance and the environment. Prior to joining NATA, France worked with Volo Aviation in Manassas, VA, as a quality control and training coordinator. During his tenure at Volo Aviation, France was responsible for regulatory compliance issues and the development of operational manuals.
