Look out for her two new web series, Fairytales with Nonye and Gayby Jesus, coming in winter 2020.   Jerod Haynes is an award-winning actor from Chicago. Haynes has appeared in multiple TV shows such as NBCs \u201cThe Village\u201d, \u201cEmpire\u201d, \u201cSense 8\u201d, \u201cCrisis\u201d, and currently on the History Channel in Robert Zemeckis\u2019s show  \u201cProject Blue Book\u201d. Haynes has appeared in such independent films such as \u201cConsumed\u201d and \u201cAnimals,\u201d as well as Sundance hit \u201cSouthside with You\u201d. Haynes co-wrote and produced \u201cBlueprint\u201d which tackles the trauma a young man encounters once his best friend is murdered by police. Jerod was honored in 2015 with the Jeff Award for his performance in a principal role in the Chicago play \u201cNative Son,\u201d in which he reprised his role at Yale Rep in Fall 2017. He recently starred in Netflix and Blumhouse Production \u201cBenji.\u201d In 2019 he also appeared in HBOs production of Richard Wright\u2019s \u201cNative Son,\u201d directed by Rashid Johnson.
