A Washington DC area native, Alycia grew up in Seat Pleasant and later, Temple Hills, MD. She then went on to graduate from The University of Maryland at College Park with a Bachelor\u2019s of Arts degree in Radio-Television-Film and a minor in Theater. While in college, she fell in love with comedy by watching HBO\u2019s \u201cDef Comedy Jam.\u201d There, she saw people her age who reminded her of herself performing the funniest routines she had ever seen. They were raw and uncut, but most of all hilarious. After college, she worked at BET in Washington, DC as a music television producer. Years later, after having moved to Los Angeles in hopes of creating sitcoms, Alycia tried her hand in stand-up, and was bitten by the bug. She has been on NBC\u2019s \u201cLast Comic Standing,\u201d BET\u2019s \u201cComic View\u201d, NBC\u2019s \u201cAmerica\u2019s Got Talent,\u201d Nuvo TV\u2019s  \u201cStand Up & Deliver,\u201d Byron Allen\u2019s \u201cComics Unleashed,\u201d TV Guide\u2019s \u201cStand Up in Stilettos\u201d, \u201cLaff Mobb\u2019s Laugh Tracks\u201d on Tru TV, \u201cComing to the Stage\u201d on Apple TV, and TV One\u2019s \u201cWho\u2019s Got Jokes,\u201d to name a few. In addition to her stand-up, this comedy chameleon has appeared in the number one streaming movie on Netflix called, \u201cGuest House\u201d with Pauly Shore, the first scripted series on Facebook, \u201cLoosely, Exactly Nicole,\u201d and several network television shows; including \u201cKenan\u201d on NBC, \u201cThe Parkers\u201d on UPN, and \u201cThe Resident\u201d on Fox where she acted alongside Morris Chestnut. She then went on to appear in a string of independent films, voiced several characters in The Oscar Award winning film, \u201cSpiderman: Into the Spider-Verse,\u201d all while having six top albums in heavy rotation on Sirius Satellite Radio and iTunes. Alycia has been featured in Essence Magazine as \u201cOne to Watch.\u201d You can find her at \u201cThe World Famous Comedy Store\u201d on Sunset Boulevard most weekends, where her name is displayed on the wall alongside the likes of Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Marsha Warfield, and Jerry Seinfeld. She has performed in over 40 countries while entertaining our courageous men and women in uniform. She is currently writing, directing, and producing films.  She has four critically acclaimed short films that have won awards in various festivals: \u201cTrade\u201d, \u201cJust Us,\u201d \u201cFat Stripper,\u201d and her most recent comedy: \u201cWe Got Ours.\u201d Kenice Mobley performs stand up comedy around the world and recently made her late-night debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. She appears regularly on SiriusXM and is a Finalist in the StandUp NBC Competition. This year, Kenice worked on the BET Awards and By Us For Us, a sketch comedy series presented by Color of Change.
