Often times my birthday was forgotten and I would bake my own cake and sing happy birthday to myself.  As soon as I became of age, I began celebrating my birthday every year to the fullest extent of my pockets.   However, ironically enough. As excited as I was\/am for my bday, I begin to feel withdrawn, sad and defeated I\u2019m the days leading up. Why? I can only attribute this to some form of birthday blues. In my conversations with random friends and acquaintances, I have come to find that this birthday blues thing is a real thing. It\u2019s not just me (thank God).
