Sean Grogan is a former special investigations detective that spent his career with the Woodbridge, N.J. Police Department. In addition to spending the majority of his career in the narcotics unit as a detective, he was also a K-9 handler and gang investigator. He has conducted countless narcotics investigations and has assisted numerous agencies with various types of investigations. As a narcotics detective he utilized many confidential informants and executed a variety of search warrants resulting in numerous arrests and narcotics and currency seizures.   He has traveled to Europe for advanced training in facial expressions and other non-verbal communication. Sean has also been certified as a trainer for the Body Language Institute in Alexandria, Virginia. Recognizing Sean\u2019s skill set, he was recruited by and worked for Joe Navarro\u2019s Body Language Academy as a mentor for the Body Language Expert Program. The role of mentor has allowed him to spread his knowledge to people around the world including 4 different continents.   Sean has utilized his mastery of non-verbal communication during untold encounters with people as a law enforcement officer to conduct countless interviews with people in both formal and informal settings. Traveling throughout the United States since 2019, Sean provides training to law enforcement on non-verbal communication as an instructor for Street Cop Training, giving detectives, officers, investigators, and agents the advanced skills that can be used in a variety of settings. Sean\u2019s classes include \u2018Unmasking Hidden Facial Expressions\u2019, \u2018Body Language for Law Enforcement\u2019 & \u2018Recognizing Pre-Attack Indicators\u2019.
