History of MLB Drug Testing Penalties for Performance Enhancing Drugs:  2002 to 2004 \u2013 1st offence = treatment and player was not named in the media. Players were not suspended 2005 Season (each player tested once a year, sometimes multiple tests)  1st offence = 10 game suspension 2nd offence = 30 Game suspension 3rd offence = 60 Game suspension 4th offence = on year suspension (162 games) 5th offence = penalty at commissioners disgression   2006 Season \u2013 more changes made  1st offence = 50 game suspension 2nd offence = 100 Game suspension 3rd offence = Lifetime Ban   2014 Season \u2013 If suspended players do not get paid while serving suspension  1st offence = 80 games (1\/2 Season) 2nd offence = 162 game suspention (full season) 3rd offence = Lifetime Ban    &amp;nbsp; Did You Know?
