As I am sure\r\nyou are all aware, the battle has run into an unforeseen interruption.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\nThe campaign on Friday the 15th\r\nstarted off extremely well, and my book rose from a sales rank of 2 hundred\r\nThousand to number 533 overall by 11:40 AM Eastern Time. Although the book had\r\nnot yet been posted to the specific genre charts, that sales rank would have\r\nbeen Number #11 in Fantasy, #2 in \u201cEpic\u201d Fantasy, and #1 in \u201cGeneral\u201d Fantasy.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\nThat was before noon eastern time! There is no doubt in my mind that that\r\nwas only the beginning. \r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\nBut the Inertians must have\r\nbeen afraid, because they then resorted to a desperate tactic that we had not\r\nforseen. It is still not clear exactly what happened, but the Inertians have\r\ncaused some kind of an error in the Amazon system that resulted in the book\r\nbeing reported as out of print. When that happened, loyal barbarians could no longer\r\npurchase the book, thus preventing us from rising any higher in the rankings.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\nRight now, we don\u2019t know yet\r\nwhen this will be fixed. We didn\u2019t foresee this strategy. However, we have our\r\nbest spies and shield-breakers working on this as we speak and hopefully we\r\nwill be through their defenses soon. \r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\nIn the meantime, I know that\r\nthere are a lot of you out there, just like me. Spoiling for a fight! You\r\nthought you were going to fight some evil spirits, only to have a door slammed\r\nin your face! If you\u2019re like me, that ticks you off and you want to do\r\nsomething about it! Well, here\u2019s the new plan. Right now, the Amazon issue\r\nrequires a scalpel, not a broadsword, and so I have different orders for you,\r\nmy loyal horde! \r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\nAlthough continuing to attack\r\nAmazon is satisfying, right now, it is counter-productive, so instead, I want\r\nall of you to focus on finding and converting new recruits! The Inertians\r\nspecialize in disrupting momentum, preventing changes from ever happening. Now\r\nthat they have interrupted our campaign, we must work all the harder to be\r\nready to resume as soon as we breach the shields again. We must find anyone and\r\neveryone who has not yet heard the call, and prepare them to join our cause!\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\nWe have several tools\r\navailable, the videos, the promos, but your best weapon is the pdf version of\r\nthe book. It is easily distributed on blogs, websites, forums, and Podcast feeds.\r\nIt has the complete version of the story, so people unfamiliar with the story\r\ncan determine whether or not they will like it, and most importantly, it\r\ncontains links to the Amazon storefront page. The people who click those links\r\nnow will not be able to purchase it yet, but every click-through will be one\r\nmore hit, showing the Inertians that their tactic has not eliminated demand for\r\nthe book.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\nSo go, help spread the word,\r\nspread the pdf version of the book far and wide, and when we once again break\r\nthrough the Inertians defenses, we will be ready.
