Now I am wondering what it is that you\u2019ve learnt over the past years while working as a sport psychologist?\u201d Wow! I\u2019ve never been asked that question before, and it was tremendously helpful to think about this question. Obviously I regularly reflect on what I do with my students, athletes and coaches, and if it works well, or what I could improve, what I should omit. But I\u2019ve never asked myself what lessons I\u2019ve learnt over all these years that I\u2019m actively involved in elite sports \u2013 as an athlete, coach, researcher or sport psychologist. I shared all of the things I think I\u2019ve learnt during one of my classes, and I think it might also be interesting for you as well. I\u2019m here to help you learn and benefit from my experiences and this is why I am sharing my top 25 lessons I\u2019ve learnt in the past. Some things are directly related to working in elite sports. However, I\u2019ll also be sharing what I\u2019ve come to understand so far about life in general.
