Skyler plays Howard Cosell, the most iconic sports broadcaster in the history of television, who announced all the major boxing matches of the 60s, 70s and 80s. Cosell was also the one who informed the world, during the middle of a boxing match, that John Lennon had been killed. Skyler\u2019s other film credits include \u201cAlong Came Polly\u201d, \u201cThe Hot Chick\u201d, \u201cRomy & Michele\u2019s High School Reunion\u201d and \u201cForrest Gump\u201d. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Skyler got his start in show business as a stand up comic in his late 20s. He toured comedy clubs and universities, and did stand up for corporate gigs for 10 years before deciding to pursue his real passion \u2013 acting. In addition to his long history in film, Skyler has also worked extensively in television, with credits including \u201cArrested Development\u201d, \u201cCurb Your Enthusiasm\u201d, \u201c2 Broke Girls\u201d, \u201cMonk\u201d and \u201cNYPD Blue\u201d. A psychology major in college, Skyler also has a background in business as an entrepreneur. He is passionate about sports, and an avid baseball fan.
