You heard right: rest! First of all, healing through rest is a promise provided for us in the Holy Bible. In the Tanakh, we read: \u201cIf you keep your feet from stomping on the Sabbath\u2015from pursuing your own interests on my holy day\u2015if you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord\u2019s Holy Day honorable; and if you honor it by not going your own ways and seeking your own pleasure or speaking merely idle words, then you will take delight in the Lord, and he will make you ride upon the high places of the earth; and he will make you feast on the inheritance of your ancestor Jacob, your father. Yes! The mouth of the Lord has spoken.\u201d \u2012 Isaish 58:13-14 Notice, when you \u201cride on the heights of the earth\u201d you have dominion \u2026 you have perspective and are ABOVE the things of the earth. You are in a position of blessing by God. You are blessed. Also, when you \u201cfeast on the inhertitance of you ancestor Jacob\u201d you are partaking spiritually\u2015plus physically and materially\u2015of the health and wealth of the father of the 12 tribes of Israel. Notice something interesting. In the context of Isaiah Chapter 58 we read about fasting as well as rest. In my personal experience, one of the quickest ways to receive healing is through \u201cfasting unto the LORD.\u201d Sometimes, just a three day fast with water only \u2026 or, even a three day fast until 7 PM (and then eating healthy food) \u2026 has brought immediate healing. Notice what God promises in Isaiah Chapter 58 concerning fasting: \u201cThen your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will spring up quickly; and your vindication will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will guard your back. Then you\u2019ll call, and the Lord will answer; you\u2019ll cry for help, and He will respond, \u2018I am here.\u2019\u201d \u2013 Verses 8 and 9 Let me give you a personal testimony of how God used REST to bring me healing. I had been very busy holidng evangelistic and tent meetings and in addition I had contracted for a busy schedule of radio production. Quickly I was entered into the Intensive Care center of the hospital with several unknown rare diseases. I was placed into an isolation room where even the nurse was NOT allowed to enter. When the nurse was taking my information (she had to stand outside the door), she asked me, \u201cWhat is your date of birth.\u201d I asked her, \u201cWhich one do you want?\u201d She said, \u201cDo you mean that you have been born more than once?\u201d I said, \u201cYes, when I came out of my mother's womb \u2026 AND \u2026 when I gave my life to Jesus Christ.\u201d She answered, \u201cI know what you're talking about. My father is a minister; but I have never experienced the new birth.\u201d (I don't remember if she received the LORD there or not.) Then she asked me, \u201cWhat is your address?\u201d I then told her, \u201cHeaven.\u201d The nurse came back in a vew minutes and said, \u201cWhere were you? The doctor came in to see you in your room and you were NOT there.\u201d I said, \u201cI have NOT left.\u201d Then I realized that I was on the other side of my bed on the ground praying and the doctor could not see me from where he stood at the door. Anyway, as soon as I was placed in the isolation ward room, I placed my hands behind my head \u2026 and laying back \u2026 I realized instantly WHY I was there. In a moment, the LORD impressed on my mind the verse from Isaiah 30:15: \u201cIn returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and you would not.\u201d I then realized I had been busy doing God's work holding tent and evangelistic meetings, working to support the ministry, and travelling \u2026 but NOT taking my Day of Rest. When I realized this, I repented before the LORD and asked for His forgiveness. Instantly, I could tell that I had been healed. My friend, truly God has given YOU a practical and effective\u2015cost effective\u2015means of healing: REST. \u201cTake my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls.\u201d\u2012 Jesus of Nazareth \u201cIn returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength.\u201d\u2012 Isaiah 30:15 _____________ If you want to meet the Healer, Yeshua HaMashiach\u2015Jesus the Anointed One\u2015NOW is the time! Invite God\u2019s Son, Jesus, to come into your life by praying the following prayer: "Messiah Jesus, I know that you are The Great Physician.You loved me enough to shed your sinless blood and die for me on the cross stake that I might be healed. I know you are alive. Please forgive my sins, come into my life, and be my Master. I have witnessed many people walking out of their wheel chairs. I was holding a three day seminar and I had asked the people present to join me in prayer and fasting for the last day as I was going to teach on healing. A man was present who had been in a wheel chair for nine years due to two conditions: 1. A large 18 wheel semi-tractor truck had run into his automobile and he had five breaks in his spine; 2. He had muscular dystrophy. During Holy Communion he walked out of his wheel chair and never went back! Two years later, he gave his testimony in a large denominational church and hundreds of people fell out of their seats under the Power of the Holy Spirit.
