Anyway, in this case, I\u2019m pretty sure the conversation with Doctor Cinnabar does already mention the White Lectern. So that part isn\u2019t technically a \u201cspoiler\u201d anyway. But what the White Lectern actually is\u2026 now that\u2019s a whole other story.  Now, a \u201clectern\u201d is a sort of standing desk that you can read from, like when you read out loud at Church. That comes from the Latin (well, from the French and then the Latin) \u201clego\u201d which means \u201cI read.\u201d Except\u2026 It doesn\u2019t only mean \u201cI read.\u201d It originally means \u201cI gather\u201d or \u201cI choose.\u201d (I guess reading is sort of like \u201cgathering\u201d words, though I think that\u2019s more like writing!) Anyway, that makes me wonder.
