From 2008\/9,\nshe served as the chair of the Clive Davis Department of Recorded\nMusic and was that department'\u0080\u0099s inaugural chair in 2003\/4. She\nalso served as chair of the Graduate Film Program in\n2001\/2 and for two years from 2013\/15 the interim chair of\nthe Goldberg Department of Dramatic Writing.\nHer courses include Anatomy of Difference: The Other in\nFilm, The World Through Art, and Language of Film. She\nreceived Curricular Development Challenge Grants for\ntwo courses: Issues in Contemporary African-American Cinema (taught\n1992-1995) and The Summer Film &amp;amp;\nVideo Program for High School Students (designed in collaboration\nin 1995). She is an advisor and frequent lecturer\nwhose presentations include: a live online debate about the movie\nPrecious with Stanley Crouch; The Double Down Film Show,\nFuture Filmmakers Workshop; Advisory Board of\nGhetto Film\nSchool, \nThe Cinema High School;\nand the NAACP. She has been interviewed for\ntelevision, radio, and print, including Studio 360: Girls on Film\nand WNYC 93.9FM, Orpheus: to Hell and Back.\nThe\nClive Davis Institute -&amp;nbsp;is the first and only\nprogram of its kind to provide professional business and artistic\ntraining toward a BFA in Recorded Music.
