We\u2019re talking about the important difference between conviction and condemnation, how to recognize the voice of shame, and why the Holy Spirit\u2019s conviction is always an invitation to repentance, freedom, and a closer relationship with God. Sometimes seeing what\u2019s really in our hearts is uncomfortable (and even embarrassing) but God doesn\u2019t reveal what needs to change so we\u2019ll run from Him. He invites us to bring it into the light. Psalm 139 reminds us that we are already fully known. The question is whether we\u2019re willing to stop hiding and pray, \u201cSearch me, God, and know my heart.\u201d Because when conviction makes us want to hide, we don\u2019t have to hide from Him.
