Pesticides and hormones in our food overload our bodies with toxins.\r\nWe need good fats, leafy greens, and fermented foods.\r\nSigns of an unhappy gut include bloating, irregular bowel, food coma, heartburn, gas, migraines, and skin disorders.\r\nThere are common trigger foods for migraines, general inflammation, and even Candida issues.\r\n&amp;ldquo;Very few people have a great diet and great digestion.&amp;rdquo;\r\nAn unhappy gut is a huge stress on the body, producing less sex hormones, less nutrients, and insufficient neurotransmitters.\r\nThere are four tests that can be used to check for gut health:\r\n\r\nUrine test for intestinal permeability\r\nLEAP food sensitivity test\r\nStool test\r\nGenetic test for mutations contributing to IBS\r\n\r\nBridgit explains her best steps to start healing your gut:\r\n\r\nEat well, slowly, and mindfully.\r\nDon&amp;rsquo;t rush while eating and don&amp;rsquo;t overeat.\r\nAn elimination diet may be the answer for you.\r\nEat fermented foods.\r\nTake a probiotic.\r\nDo what you can to lower your stress.\r\nAvoid allergens like corn, soy, dairy, wheat, sugar.&amp;nbsp;\r\nAvoid coffee and tea.\r\nAdopt soothing practices for your gut&amp;rsquo;s mucous lining: use bone broth, collagen powder, L-glutamine, and aloe.\r\nAdd lots of fiber; eat salad every day, and try to eat 20 different kinds of veggies each week!\r\n\r\nHow much fiber is ideal?
