I must admit that if reason is light, dance is movement, and we need it to live. I have heard talk of staccato rhythms called Techno, of the repetitive beat of House, and even of that old Disco where the lights shine. It seems that Dubstep and Drum & Bass seek complete complexity, while France elevates you beyond the earthly. Whether at the club or the ball, if the music encourages joy and exercise without excessive noise, then I see no problem with it. Let men rejoice in their own way, as long as it is peaceful. We will have plenty of time to be serious. Please accept, Sir, the assurance of my highest consideration.
