Today Nita is best known for her \u200bMolly the Maid\u200b mystery series which features three main titles and a holiday edition\u2014\u2018\u200bThe Maid\u200b,\u2019 \u2018\u200bThe\u200b\u200b \u200b\u200bMystery Guest\u200b,\u2019 \u2018\u200bThe Mistletoe Mystery\u200b,\u2019 and \u2018\u200bThe Maid's Secret\u200b\u2019\u2014which have collectively sold over 2 million copies.  Raised in Ontario\u2019s Simcoe County, Nita began her career by contributing to literary magazines, became a production editor with HarperCollins, and then became a Senior Editor at Doubleday.  She then held the lofty publishing position of Vice President and Editorial Director at Simon &amp;amp; Schuster Canada and oversaw titles by authors like Rupi Kaur (\u200b@rupikaur_\u200b), Kate Morton (\u200b@katemortonauthor\u200b), Iain Reid (\u200b@tidydissolve\u200b), and... me!  Nita was the editor of my book on resilience \u2018\u200bYou Are Awesome: How To Navigate Change, Wrestle with Failure, and Live an Intentional Life\u200b\u2019 which came out in 2019 and my book on gratitude and community \u2018\u200bOur Book Of Awesome\u200b,\u2019 which came out in 2022.  Nita has since left publishing to write full-time and today her phenomenal career and perspectives offer a true publishing and writing masterclass.
