His character begins to form in you: \u2022 Love \u2022 Joy \u2022 Peace \u2022 Patience \u2022 Kindness \u2022 Goodness \u2022 Faithfulness \u2022 Gentleness \u2022 Self-control (Galatians 5:22\u201323) This is the goal of the Christian life\u2014not just to believe in Jesus, but to become like Him. Christ-Focused Reading Rob shares a practical habit to help you grow: Christ-focused reading Spend time slowly reading and reflecting on passages that reveal the character of God and Jesus, such as: \u2022 Exodus 34:6\u20137 \u2013 God\u2019s compassion and grace \u2022 Romans 5 \u2013 God\u2019s love demonstrated through Christ \u2022 Ephesians 1 \u2013 Your identity and blessings in Christ \u2022 Philippians 2 \u2013 The humility of Jesus \u2022 Colossians 1 \u2013 The supremacy of Christ \u2022 Romans 8 \u2013 Life in the Spirit Don\u2019t rush. Read slowly. Reflect deeply. Repeat often. Because transformation happens through consistent exposure to truth.
