Since 2003, he has been in charge of the Plastic Surgery Unit at Sant\u2019Andrea Hospital in Rome. He was President of the European Association of Plastic Surgeons (EURAPS) in 2023\/24. More recently, he has been focusing on the study of Breast Implant-Associated Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma, and Face Allotrasplantation in cooperation with the Italian Ministry of Health.
