I was chatting with a fellow patient\u2014a man in his late 60s\u2014who was getting ready for a trip to the Amazon. It was such a beautiful reminder that adventure doesn\u2019t have an age limit. We have to refuse to let a number or a setback define what is possible for us. It\u2019s Never Too Late to Pursue Your Dreams I want to ask you: If you could do anything in the world\u2014for fun, for work, or just because\u2014what would it be? I know life presents challenges, but it is never too late to take that first step. So many of us say, "One day, when the kids are grown," or "when I have more money." But let\u2019s be real\u2014those are often just excuses that keep us stuck. You deserve to start now. Embracing Change and Forward Motion I\u2019ve had my share of ups and downs, from being a single mom in LA making $9 an hour to finally following my dreams here by the ocean. I like to think of life like a train; people get on and off at different stops, and that\u2019s okay. My message to you is simple: Don\u2019t let your past prevent you from moving forward. There are beautiful things waiting for you if you just choose to keep going. Community and Connection Matter Whether I\u2019m watching rocket launches from my front yard or swimming with the manatees, I\u2019ve learned that happiness comes from your attitude and your actions, not from having "perfect" circumstances. We\u2019re in this together. I want you to reach out and tell me what you\u2019re excited about.
