The authors, from various orthopaedic institutions, aimed to determine if a negative EUA accurately forecasts a pelvic ring union without displacement. Their methods involved reviewing data from patients at multiple trauma centers who underwent pelvic EUA. The results indicate that a negative EUA reliably predicts successful healing without further displacement, even allowing for immediate weight-bearing unless other injuries prevent it.
