Part 1 begins with a song not part of that day, but one that needed to be brought to the table because of an Uber encounter the morning of our chat. From there, penmanship became a catalyst for a fantastic connection that led us to listen to an entire album. And thus the journey began. So much of this afternoon is connected to Tom, so I asked him to join us, at first maybe hesitant, but he agreed, and it was a great decision. There is so much to unpack in these three episodes: many stories, Uber encounters, blindsides during the conversation, and much laughter.
