In the last episode, we introduced nutritional anemia and its impact. Today, we\u2019ll explore its causes. Nutritional anemia can develop due to several reasons: Lack of essential nutrients: Not getting enough iron, vitamin B12, folic acid, and protein from daily meals can lead to weakness and health problems. These nutrients are important for making red blood cells and keeping the body strong. Excessive blood loss: Losing a lot of blood, especially during heavy periods or childbirth, can lower the body's iron levels, leading to weakness and tiredness. Inability to absorb nutrients properly: Sometimes, even if a person eats enough iron and vitamins, their body may not absorb them well due to digestive issues or certain medical conditions. This can lead to deficiencies over time. Parasitic infections: Some infections, like those caused by worms, can lead to blood loss and also make it harder for the body to absorb important nutrients, increasing the risk of anemia. Understanding these causes is the first step in preventing anemia. In our next episode, we\u2019ll discuss how to identify its symptoms early. Till then stay tuned and stay healthy!
