Of course, past performance does not guarantee future results.&amp;nbsp; But while some analysts are calling for a soft landing now, in late 2023, there are steps you can take to protect your portfolio and your retirement future.&amp;nbsp; Much of America\u2019s debt is in credit cards.&amp;nbsp; Darlene reminds us that taking a good hard look at our spending habits can be helpful. &amp;nbsp; And with interest rates higher than just a couple of years ago, that opens more opportunities for investment outside of just the stock market.
