In addition, she has sold her first screenplay to Columbia Studios, a romantic comedy which stared Cameron Diaz. She has also written a pilot for Warren Littlefield for NBC Studios and Fox starring Jenny McCarthy. In 2010, Pimental joined the staff of the Showtime dramedy Shameless, as a writer and producer.
