And it is no less real for being unrelated by blood and bone.\u201d (Sharon Eubank) This \u201cmother work\u201d as Sharon put it, and as we saw in the example of Deborah, is bearing with others and nurturing them in God.  It\u2019s being yourself and holding up your unique light with courage, it\u2019s being a strengthener and encourager, it\u2019s meeting others where they\u2019re.  It\u2019s holding space for another to feel safe being exactly who they are.  It\u2019s forgiving, it\u2019s counseling together, it\u2019s going to places that may be uncomfortable to help another not have to walk alone, it\u2019s speaking the language of faith and hope, it\u2019s wisdom and good judgment,  it\u2019s turning hearts to God.  It\u2019s helping restore freedom and faith and God.  It\u2019s walking with Christ and receiving daily strength to be able to walk with others in difficult circumstances where peace needs to be made.   Mother-work is creating peace.     ","author_name":"Conversations of Christ","author_url":"http:\/\/conversationsofchristpodcast.libsyn.com\/website","html":"
