We address these discussions by focusing on American events without ever contextualizing them based on our reality. In this episode, we try to take the conversation further: How is anti-black racism manifested in Canada? Based on the facts, exploring the violent history of racism here, what conclusion can we draw about our identity as Black Quebecers\/Montrealers? What does it mean to be black in Montreal? We present to you a two-hour episode where we try to answer these questions by going over the history of Black people in Montreal that is not taught to us in our classrooms. . . .
