Plusieurs activistes ont prit la peine de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 toutes ses questions mais leur travail a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9clips\u00e9 et discr\u00e9dit\u00e9 par les m\u00e9dias et les politiciens. Dans cet \u00e9pisode, nous prenons le temps de mettre la lumi\u00e8re sur le travail qui se fait et prenons plus d' une heure et demi \u00e0 en parler sans interruption, partageant des statistiques et des faits historiques que nous esp\u00e9rons vous aideront \u00e0 comprendre le mouvement. In the last year, many discussions were held regarding police brutality but there were hardly any clear solutions that followed in the political sphere. The city\u2019s mayor Val\u00e9rie Plante decided that what would be needed this year is a significant increase in the SPVM budget (up to 30M$ so far) despire many alternatives being suggested in response to this problem, one of them being defunding the police. But what does it mean to defund the police? What does that imply? What is the goal of the movement? Many activists took the time to answer all these questions throughout their work but were discredited by mainstream media and politicians. In this episode, we take the time to shed light on their work, taking more than an hour and thirty minutes to talk about it without interruption, sharing statistics and historical facts with the audience which hopefully will help you understand what the defund the police movement is all about.
