Mike's bio: "I grew up in Charleston and attended Porter-Gaud School. I started  training with Jermel in high school and also played for Team DAE for my AAU basketball. Training with Jermel and following his Oatmeal Recipe expedited my development as a basketball player and enabled me to compete at the NCAA Division II Level at Erskine College (Due West, SC). For my academic work in college, I majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry and maintained a 3.98 GPA graduating Summa Cum Laude. My proudest accomplishments include being named a Conference Carolina\u2019s Murphy Osborne Outstanding Scholar-Athlete Finalist and being the first basketball player in Erskine College history to graduate valedictorian. I recently earned my M.D. degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and have started my residency in Internal Medicine.  I have specific interest in preventing and treating musculoskeletal injuries in all patient populations including athletes."
