Comet may be a little harder to please with dog treat recipes.   Both of the pups have appeared on GoGreenfields in the past - usually in their preferred \u201cbegging pose\u201d (we\u2019re fairly certain that is or should be a yoga pose).  This time, though, they get to serve in the role of \u201cspecial guest\u201d.  In order to tempt these dog treat connoisseurs, River and Terran devised two different treats: oats and apple, and pumpkin peanut butter.   For those who are wondering, our dogs are named after Santa\u2019s reindeer!    River\u2019s Oats and Apple Dog Treat Recipe \u00be Rolled oats 2 cups oat flour (or pulverized rolled oats) 1 cup apple sauce 1 beaten egg (minus one Tablespoon)   Preheat the oven or toaster oven to 350 degrees. Consistency of cookie dough Place in dog treat molds Carefully remove from molds and placed on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or silicone baking sheet Brush on remaining egg with silicone brush Bake for 30 minutes Terran\u2019s Pumpkin Peanut Butter Dog Treat Recipe   3 tablespoons peanut butter 15oz can pumpkin puree 3 eggs \u00bd cups oats 3 cups whole wheat flour   Preheat the oven or toaster oven to 350 degrees. Mix peanut butter, pumpkin, and eggs in medium mixing bowl Add oats and continue mixing until well blended Stir in flour a little at a time.  Once it is too thick too stir, work the dough by hand until fully combined.
