He has recorded and\/or mixed albums by Wilco, Dolly Parton and Amy Grant. Russ\u2019 film credits include the soundtracks to The Sapphires, Girl Interrupted, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days and The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything. Russ works in his private mix room, Dangerland, just outside of Nashville. Russ is also an engineer for live sound recordings having multi-tracked live performances for Switchfoot, Luke Bryan and Guy Clark and has mixed numerous live events including the KLOVE Music awards, Challenge America Musical Gala at the Kennedy Center, Barbara Bush\u2019s 90th Birthday concert featuring Reba McEntire and the Grammy and CMA Awards. Russ has authored over 150 articles and reviews for Pro Audio Review, Pro Sound News, and Mix Magazine.
