Even as a former teacher, Caci recognizes that homeschooling doesn\u2019t have to be a carbon copy of traditional schooling, and she discusses how she\u2019s had to adjust her mindset to make it work. \u201cIt is very, very doable for parents to work full time and homeschool,\u201d Caci says, \u201cbut you have to be willing to think outside the box. It\u2019s not going to look like a classroom setting. You\u2019re not bringing school home. You\u2019re homeschooling, which is a completely different concept, and it\u2019s one that\u2019s been very hard for me to wrap my mind around.\u201d In this episode, Caci and I talk about the flexibility provided by homeschooling, and some of the challenges teachers and parents who are doing \u201cschool at home\u201d through a traditional school district are facing.
