She most recently held the position of associate dean of Graduate Business in the School of Economics and Business Administration at Saint Mary\u2019s College of California.&amp;nbsp; She holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Pittsburgh, an MBA in International Business and Management from Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss., a master\u2019s in biochemistry from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, and a bachelor\u2019s degree in zoology and biochemistry from St. Xavier\u2019s College at the University of Bombay. Community Outreach and Engagement This is a cornerstone of Dr. Munshi\u2019s vision.&amp;nbsp; She discusses how she would like to see the Rubel School of Business become a \u201ccommunity hub.\u201d&amp;nbsp; One of the initiatives is the Women of Color Entrepreneurial Leadership Certificate.&amp;nbsp; This initiative is being overseen by Dr. Pat Carver. Executive Education &amp;amp; Program Development Providing this type of community resource can include non-degree certificates, C-suite leadership programs and mid-level professional development.&amp;nbsp; Promoting Bellarmine\u2019s Rubel School of Business to the business community as a resource is vital to creating lasting engagement and the promotion of our brand.&amp;nbsp; Dr. Munshi describes how businesses and corporations will be able to engage with Rubel to provide innovative training and skill-enhancement opportunities for employees of those companies.&amp;nbsp; Center for Social Innovation This is an exciting part of Dr. Munshi\u2019s vision for our business school.&amp;nbsp; The initiative would enable the Rubel School of Business to assist in identifying solutions for large social issues such as financial insecurity and issues related to the educational sector (e.g. access to affordable education and educational justice).&amp;nbsp; The concept will challenge business leaders and community leaders to come together to create innovative approaches that can be implemented and measured.&amp;nbsp; She later explains the motivation behind the upcoming Social Innovation Hackathon.
