Now that you\u2019ve studied the \u2018bones\u2019 of great talks, it\u2019s time to study those in speakers and communicators you admire and respect. Learning to identify those tools in the talks and speeches of others will help you discover those tools in yourself. 2- SELF. (7:00) Learn to unpack your own talks. You\u2019ll find when you can pat yourself on the back for the things you do right, and then send yourself to a corner for a timeout for the things you need to improve\u2026OK, just kidding. But learning what NOT to do is part of the process. 3- REALTIME FEEDBACK and STRATEGIC PIVOTING. (10:40) When you finally begin to reach the area of true \u201cgear shifting\u201d mid-talk because you sense a need in the audience, then you\u2019ve entered a refined area of excellence.
