She\u2019s been named North Carolina\u2019s Mother of the Year 2020 by American Mothers, Inc.!\u2063 Aviva currently lives in North Carolina with her husband, two cats, and four wild animals who sometimes pretend they\u2019re well-mannered children.  When she\u2019s not writing, editing, or reading diverse children\u2019s books, she can be found hiding from housework (no one\u2019s actually ever found her; she\u2019s super good at hiding), eating popcorn, or singing show tunes.
