Darryl\u2019s television credits include Robert Townsend\u2019s WB sitcom, \u201cThe Parent Hood\u201d, \u201cTownsend Television\u201d for Fox, HBO\u2019s \u201cDef Comedy Jam\u201d, Comedy Central\u2019s \u201cMake Me Laugh\u201d, Martin Lawrence\u2019s \u201c1st Amendment\u201d, Telemundo\u2019s \u201cLoco Comedy Jam\u201d, Byron Allen\u2019s \u201cComic\u2019s Unleashed\u201d and ABC\u2019s \u201cAmerica\u2019s Funniest People\u201d where he was the Grand Prize Winner. Darryl toured Europe and Asia as a stand-up comedian entertaining US military troops, released his comedy CD, \u201cAm I Lying?!\u201d, won the prestigious Bay Area Black Comedy Competition on its 20th Anniversary, worked as a commentator for NPR and his first published book, \u201cBlack Comedians on Black Comedy\u201d, is taught at USC and was adapted into the Robert Townsend directed documentary, \u201cWhy We Laugh\u201d where Darryl served as executive producer. Littleton co-hosted the podcast \u201cTuezdae\u2019s with D\u2019Militant\u201d, toured as a public speaker, produced \u201cBlack &amp;amp; Blue: The Laff Records Collection\u201d and dropped his sophomore album \u201cToo Raw for Mainstream\u201d along with publishing five additional books: \u201cHow to Be Funny: The Essential Comedy Handbook\u201d; \u201cForefathers\u201d, \u201cPimp Down\u201d; \u201cComediennes: Laugh Be a Lady\u201d and \u201cBlack Revenge.\u201d Darryl Littleton is the Associate Curator of the Comedy Hall of Fame and is an Emmy nominated writer for his work on the documentary, \u201cJoan Rivers: Exit Laughing\u201d.
