Episode Guest: Jennifer Lordon  "I have been living in NYC for 20 years with quick stints in both LA and Miami.  I have been in the design industry even since I moved to NYC. I have worked for major Interior firms such as Studio Sofield, Andre Balazs (the hotelier but worked on designing hotels for him in their design dept) Roman and Williams and GACHOT.  When my ex husband left the country and my kids both emotionally and financially I was left to take care of my children and myself. I was having to travel so much for work, my kids were really struggling with their fathers abandonment, and financially it wasn't adding up with all the child care expenses.  I knew I had to make a change in my career for my family. So much had happened that I figured "how could possibly one more thing go wrong" this had to work and I had to make this work somehow. So I left my job and started Jennifer Lordon Interiors. It will be 2 years in the spring since I opened the firm.  I have been blessed that business has been great! However, it is a struggle juggling my business, my three children and their busy school and social lives.
