The direct deal with this is that my own family never had affection so it really affected me to the point where I didn't want to be around them. ( Most emotional podcast I have ever done). Which lead to my mom gifting me 6 dogs throughout my lifetime, to accompany me with my solitude. From them I learned what it felt to love with no ultimate boundaries or judgement. It was painful to say that they were my teachers of this unknown instinct.
