Curtis began his tenure as the AD at FHSU in May 2004. Before being the Athletic Director, he had a stint as the baseball coach and assistant assistant director for the Tigers from 1991-1996. Hammeke also served as an Athletic Director at Great Bend High School, Butler Community College and Newman University.
