Ian Brown has published four books, including The Boy in the Moon: A Father's Journey to Understand His Extraordinary Son, The New York Times named The Boy in the Moon one of the top five non-fiction books for 2011 with the following review -- "I can't remember reading a book that's so carefully crafted, so brutally honest, so tenderly written, and so life-affirming." Ian Brown's most recent book is Sixty: The Beginning of the End, or the End of the Beginning? A Diary of My Sixty-First Year.  Brown began keeping a diary with a Facebook post on the morning of February 4, 2014, his 60th birthday. As well as keeping a running tally on how he survived the year, Brown explored what being sixty means physically, psychologically and intellectually. We talk to Ian Brown about the pros and cons of aging, the struggles of having a child with a disability, and how gay porn led to his most recent book sixty - listen to the episode and it will make sense.
